me this spring: "don't worry, the catnip and cat mint I'm planting won't attract strays to the yard, I'm not planting much and I'm keeping it in containers."
stray this fall: "I like this mint."
(although to be fair, I think putting out our own cats' leftovers every night is what attracted her lol, the mint is just a bonus)
anyway, say hi to my new gardening buddy! I think someone dumped her nearby, as next door is an abandoned property and next to that is a nature preserve. I'm still trying to determine (lack of) ownership before taking next steps but don't worry, I used to run a cat rescue so she's in good hands! we can't bring her inside because of our own three kitties, but i've got other ideas.
